Whiskey Sour
Ingredients
- 2 oz (60 ml) bourbon whiskey
- 1 oz (30 ml) lemon juice (fresh preferred)
- 1 oz (30 ml) sugar syrup (2:1)
- 2 dashes of Jerry Thomas bitters / Angostura bitters
Preparation
- Wet shake without the bitters.
- Add bitters after.
- Serve: In a chilled old-fashioned glass, over fresh ice.
- Garnish: 3 drops of bitters, drawn with a toothpick (optional) and a lemon wheel or cherry.
